Orem has slowly been gaining a reputation of a bastion of food innovation. This so-called food revolution is happening in the Applebee's restaurant, which has recently gained a wide popularity. I went there with my family: my wife Aisha, my daughters Reem and Nourah, and my son Rahsid. My wife and I ordered two dishes "New Chicken & Shrimp Tequila Tango", two "Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Shooter", and two "Flavored Iced Teas". Our kids did not want to eat; therefore, we ordered three "Limeades" and three "Hot Fudge Sundae Dessert Shooter". The restaurant was almost completely filled with people, but we did not wait long for our order. It was brought in during the next ten minutes (given that it was a Saturday night, it was very fast), so we had time to examine the interior of the restaurant.
Facade of the building was decorated with a huge signboard with the name of the institution and a big red apple. Wide large windows allowed the light to penetrate inside easily and watch what was happening on the street. The walls were made of red brick. Inside the restaurant, there were brick columns, but they did not seem “coo”. Basically, the furniture was made of dark wood giving the restaurant some importance, but not severely. The walls were covered with photographs of interesting places, posters, or even something unusual hall filled with plasma TVs. They worked loud enough so that they could be heard while talking quietly with your companion. Colored lamps that hanged from the ceiling created a pleasant atmosphere around each table.
We chose a window seat and enjoyed a beautiful view of many green trees. Our children were very happy. Inside, the restaurant was paint in light yellow tones.
Ten minutes later, our waiter brought our order. First of all, the restaurant staff paid attention to our children. They were very kind and attentive with all the kids in the hall. The waiter brought three lemonades blended with ice of swirled strawberry and then - "Hot Fudge Sundae Dessert Shooter" with vanilla ice cream and maraschino cherry.
All desserts and drinks were moderately cold and pleased us all by their forms. When they brought "New Chicken & Shrimp Tequila Tango", it seemed to us that the shrimp were stale. The waiter assured us in the opposite, but kindly agreed to prepare an order once again. They have coped with it in 7-8 minutes. Restaurant manager came up to us and once again apologized for the misunderstanding. Dessert and drinks had a pleasant aroma. We have asked the waiter what ingredients were present in "Strawberry Cheesecakes Dessert Shooter". He has answered that this was a classic cheesecake with graham cracker crumbs, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream and has told us about a discount for this dessert. When you order four of these desserts, the restaurant gives the fifth one free of charge, but we have already ordered desserts for our children, so we did not change the order.
All the food was very delicious and nourishing. We felt that the restaurant had professionals whose cooking skills are perfect and who use only fresh products. The restaurant is active in social life and is represented in many online resources where you can see its photos and news.
Applebee's Restaurant pays great attention to its clients. One of the restaurant visitors had the birthday. He was sitting not far from us, and we could hear how his friends were congratulating him. After the main dishes, the confectioner of the restaurant came to this visitor with a large biscuit dessert with cream and personally congratulated wished him happy birthday.
After we finished our lunch, we were sitting for a long time talking and watching the restaurant visitors. Restaurant team consists of experienced co-workers who work here for many years. Nevertheless, Applebee's Restaurant provides job opportunities for inexperienced people teaching them. The waiter who was serving the next table has worked at the time only four days, but he knew all the prices and names of the dishes, never confused plates, and was very accommodating with all clients. The staff did not rush us although there were many people who wanted to take a table.
We asked for a bill. It turned out that due to the occurred event, the restaurant gave us "New Chicken & Shrimp Tequila Tango" which costs $ 20 for free. For two "Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Shooter" without the discount, we paid $ 17, and $ 10 for two "Flavored Iced Teas". Children’s "Limeades" had cost us $ 15, and Hot Fudge Sundae Dessert Shooter "- $ 24. Finally, our bill was $ 66.
The restaurant offers a huge variety of dishes; many of them are made in the style of Mexican cuisine. Without exception, they are made flawlessly. It seems that the food is really “live” and useful. The decor of the restaurant encourages a cheerful conversation. All employees are highly skilled and pleasant; they know the whole range of products, existing shares and are always ready to help. When we were leaving, they wished us a pleasant evening.
Thus, it can be said that the Applebee's Restaurant has a good reputation due to their employees and the quality of service. I was pleased to visit this restaurant and will recommend it to my good friends as a great place for lunch and rest.
